Katrina Hodge

Congratulations to Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge who has been awarded the ‘Miss England’ crown!

Katrina, 22, who has already served in Iraq, has been given six months leave to carry out her duties as Miss England. She  hopes to join the effort in Afghanistan after she steps down as Miss England in July.

Katrina wants to use her title to help promote the British Armed Forces and the work of charities such as The Royal British Legion.

Are there any other servicewomen out there planning to follow in Katrina’s footsteps this year?
